Current Scientific Activity
My main research is focus on
- Stratus (Start To Reconsider Automatic Timetabling Using Stratus) : complete cloud system to provide automatic timetable resolution under constraints (static and dynamic). To provide an automatic tool we use a cloud architecture focus on the interaction between users (to enter their constraints) and system (to calculate)
- Geoscience : I am co-leader of a PhD : “A dynamic and generic cloud computing model for glaciological image processing”. In this PhD, we study an architecture to build a generic tool for image processing
In a global view, my research is transdisciplinary with a single objective providing an up to date computer system for scientist with a good interface to help them to design a entire process avoiding as much as possible to code.
Summary of Professional Achievments
I got my PhD from the LIFL (Lille), France in 2002. Since 2003, I am working as assistant professor in EISTI. In parallel, from 2003 to 2005, I was in charge of the computer system administration. Since 2005, I am co-director of the computer science division. I also create and manage the master’s degree of cloud computing engineering (also since 2005).
During the same period, I build a tool to create automatic timetable under constraint (Stratus). Stratus is a tool based on cloud principle.
My lectures are : introduction to computer science, operating system’s principles, information theory, image processing, functional programming, cloud visualization and reactive programming
