Current Scientific Activity
My current research have in major aspects: (1) the chemistry and environmental toxicology in water and soils (2) Environmental monitoring and (3) Environmental turbulence in the context of climate change. Environmental impact assessment in agriculture, industrialization was conducted to prevent and propose solutions in production, resource and energy saving towards to sustainable development. The climate change has affected industrial, agricultural and domestic regions resulting in many serious problems. Combination GIS and remote sensing with practical and ground data related to environment is necessary to understand environmental changes. Environmental complicated problems in environment need to be resolved?
The TORUS program I currently participate in environmental impact and monitoring in collaboration with researchers from France, Belgium, France, Italy, Thailand and Vietnam. I believe the TORUS program will bring essential fruits for all participants from different countries.
Summary of Professional Achievments
PhD in Environmental Chemistry in Osaka University, Japan (2008), associate professor, dean in the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, Nong Lam University, Vietnam. I have participated in international projects and multidisciplinary such as “Lagoon Project between the Faculty of Science – Hue and The Region Nord Pas de Calais, France in Biodiversity Group”; “Mekong Region, Wetland Ecology and Management in the Lower Mekong Basin”; “Ford Foundation Project for Agricultural system in Highland areas” ; ““21st Center of Excellence” Project of Eco-chemistry in Osaka University, Japan”; “Global Center of Excellence Project of Bio-Environmental Chemistry in Osaka University, Japan”; “Biomass in Mekong delta Project, Waseda University, Japan”; “Pesticide Assessment in Agricultural System Project”. – Now my goal is to integrate the environmental data to GIS and remote sensing to model or monitor environmental quality?
Mobility across Thematic Areas
