Current Scientific Activity

Main research topics and activity:
Development and evaluation of digital tools for the acquisition and processing of information in the methods of analysis, modeling and spatial and perceptual representations applied to :

  • architectural, urban and landscape analysis (geographic information systems, digital processing and image synthesis, image based-modeling/photogrammetry, statistical analysis and classification)
  • urban energy assessment and adaptation to climate change (Urban Heat and Urban Cool Islands, microclimates, urban form optimization).

Summary of Professional Achievments

Engineer of State Public Works (I.T.P.E)(1986), PhD in Computer Science / Robotics of the University Pierre and Marie Curie-Paris 6 (1995). Researcher at MAP-ASM – UMR CNRS / MCC 694 (1997-2010). Currently researcher at the LRA (Architecture Research Laboratory) of the Toulouse School of Architecture (France). Member of the Organizing Committee and Scientific Committee of the Seminar of Digital Architectural Design (SCAN’16). Coordinator of the LRA’s thematic group « Digital Architectures”.
