Current Scientific Activity

My main research topic is the algorithms in artificial intelligence, including optimization and data mining :
  • Logic and constraint programming : Creation of timetabling software in a Cloud architecture.
  • Big Data : Using Spark architecture (Big Data) to implement solutions for analysis of data fields in Artic environment.
  • Computational linguistics: Learning algorithms for grammatical representation of languages, using semantics.
These last years, I have developed transdisciplinary activities with geoscientist researchers on cloud computing for environmental data.

Summary of Professional Achievments

I did a mathematic BsC in Swansea University (Wales) through the Erasmus program in 1998. Then, after a MsC in Computer Science in Lille, I got my PhD from Rennes University, France in 2003. After that, I was graduate assistant in Bordeaux University.

From 2000 to 2003, during my PHD, I worked as lecturer at INSA (Ingeniering School) in Rennes.
Since 2004, I am working as assistant professor in EISTI. My lectures are : Logic Programming, Language Theory, Functionnal Programming, Databases, Operational Research, Testing and Formal Verification, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data.
